Battery is ready to use—it has been filled, permanently sealed and charged prior to shipment to you (the special internal plates and separators have absorbed all the acid during filling and activation). Battery can be charged like conventional batteries with your 1-amp or 1/2-amp charger. When not used, battery should be charged once a month. During long storage, battery should be charged with a battery maintainer (sold separately). Includes hardware to attach to existing battery cables plus charging/maintenance instructions.
