The precious little Eggling looks and freels just like a real egg, but crack its top and discover a garden ready for sowing. Extremely popular in Japan, where it originated, the Eggling is made of white porous ceramic and comes with a terra cotta tray and a seed pack. Cultivation is easy the plants grow for up to five months in the Eggling's fortified peat mixture, after which the Eggling can be planted directly in the soil. Each Eggling is individually packaged in a gift box and measures about 2.125" inches high x 1.875" in diameter.
