Party Time is one of the most distinctive varieties of Alternanthera, with every leaf a unique masterpiece combining bright green with fuchsia-pink. No other plant resembles it, and it makes the perfect addition to any container planting.Party Time reaches 18 to 24 inches high and wide in the garden, somewhat smaller in more compact containers. It likes well-drained soil, smiles at heat and humidity, takes drought well, and has no pests or diseases. Give it well-drained soil or potting medium and a slow release fertilizer. Allow to dry out a bit between waterings. Full sun is best only in the north; farther south, it appreciates a bit of afternoon shade.
