The Frosty F-1 SE is a sugar enhanced white corn with an attractive single stalked plant. Frosty produces uniform, easily harvested 8 inch cylindrical ears with 16 rows; succulent white kernels filled to the tip. Frosty sweet corn is excellent for the home vegetable garden, roadside stand and fresh market. Frosty is a favorite in areas where white corns are grown. With a sweet flavor, this corn keeps well. It tolerates Stewarts wilt and Northern Corn leaf blight. Corn needs a consistent source of water and requires rich soil. Plant corn seeds in a sunny location after the last frost. Sow seeds in at least 4 side by side rows to insure good pollination. Weed early and keep the weeds cut back. Remember that corn has shallow roots, and a vigorous attack on the weeds may destroy the crop.
