The Russian Banana Organic Potato was developed in the Baltic region of Northeastern Europe. It is a medium sized, yellow, banana-shaped, waxy-type tuber with a firm texture. It is great baked, boiled and steamed, so this makes Russian Banana an all purpose, excellent potato. Having heavy yields, this potato also has an excellent resistance to disease. This is a mainstay fingerling that is sold to lots of growers who supply the restaurant business. Store unwashed fingerlings at room temperature in a dark, cool, airy location, such as in a basket or open paper bag. Do not store in a sealed plastic bag.
