The Nooksack Organic Potato is oblong with russet skin and moist white flesh. It is well suited for frozen French fry production but can also be used in the fresh market. It is very good baked or mashed, stores well, and is disease-resistant. Nooksack was developed for high yields in coastal northwest Washington State. This potato grows well where the days are warm and the nights cool. The foliage is broad-leafed and attractive. It is known for heavy yields of excellent baking potatoes. Being an excellent keeper, store in a dark, cool and dry place.
