Daisy Gold Organic Potato is a large to lunker size; long oval shape with smooth yellow skin, dark yellow flesh and shallow eyes. A high yielding variety, it's flaky and moist; excellent for boiling, baking, mashing, and also makes out-of-this-world hash browns! It's a super all-purpose potato and the plant is a vigorous grower. Resistant to nematodes and virus, the crop ripens midseason. It produces purple to lavender blossoms. Potatoes grown for winter use should be harvested after the vines have died and the crop is mature. They should be stored at a temperature of 40 degrees F and relative humidity of 90 to 95 percent in a cool, dry area.
