Common name Canterbury Bells. Upright plants are topped by elegant clusters of large, 2 inch bellflowers. Young buds are deep purple, opening to pale lavender luminous bells. Clusters of up to 30 blooms appear from each shoot, from spring to summer. The result is a dazzling bicolor show. Plant in cool, moist spots in part to full sun. Plants do not self-seed.
