Mechanical Linear Autopilot Drive - Type 1

The 12" Type 1 Linear Drive is a component for Raymarine SmartPilot™ autopilot system. The most commonly used drive for sailing vessels. The linear drive moves the rudder directly by pushing the tiller arm or a rudder quadrant. The vessel displacement is the determining factor in selecting the proper drive unit. Always add 20% to the dry weight of the vessel to account for the added weight of fuel, provisions, and people when determining your vessel's displacement.
